I received a Skuut Wooden Balance Bike by Diggin Products to review. The Skuut™ is a wooden balance bike for children ages 2 to 5. It has no pedals and no training wheels. Children kick off the ground as if running, thus pushing or “skuuting” themselves and the bike forward. The Skuut™ is perfect for learning balance, steering, coordination and independence. Having mastered balance on the Skuut™, the transition to a traditional two wheeler bike is easy.

My peanut 2 year old was so excited to try it out.  My husband had it assembled very easily within minutes of taking it out of the box.  We put the seat on its lowest position and then let Luke try it out.  He was ecstatic to have a 2 wheel bicycle and he felt so accomplished riding it around and got braver and braver as he took some little glides the first time riding on the road.  He is a little guy but with the seat at the lowest level it was great for him and he could be like his big brother.  He was able to go down and up small hills and turn the bike around with ease. Luke was so proud of himself and it showed in his face.   My husband and I looked at each other and said it will be a few days and he will be running and gliding on this bike.
